Our Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery treats around 3,000 inpatients and 30,000 outpatients annually, while more than 2,000 surgeries are performed each year.
With our 48 beds, we offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for all kinds of ear, nose and throat diseases. We treat hearing disorders in newborns and offer conventional hearing aids, as well as middle and inner ear implants. We perform tonsillectomies, nasal and paranasal sinus operations, snoring operations and anterior and lateral skull base operations. We carry out complex tumour resections with elaborate reconstructions. We also offer the diagnosis and surgical treatment of salivary gland and thyroid diseases.
Alongside our clinical work, we provide a wide range of further training courses (congresses, surgical courses and teaching events) for colleagues and students.
